*Home Recordings,* a beautiful little book, composes elegantly rendered movements of domestic affection. The first phase, filled with sunflower-yellow, contemplates protection by arranging quaint representations of police officers. The second phase, “See Through Glass,” in mostly red, white, and blue, follows an exchange between two intimates as they (try to) communicate. The third phase, hand-drawn, purple and black, leads to a lover’s reminiscence over the ordinary corners of their shared lives. The last phase, most visually diverse of the four, assembles familiar but stunned characters in what could be museum, home, and entertainment spaces. This is a lovely book for repeated revisits.
