Continuing our mission of discovering exciting poetry from emerging writers and those who don’t yet consider themselves poets, we have a batch of work from an eclectic mix of Canadian and American talent. Chanelle Bergeron is a writer with a distinct flair for evocative imagery and deep feeling. Jon McCurley is a Toronto based actor, comedian, artist, and organizer known for his piercing and hilarious Facebook status updates — we are very excited to showcase a selection of his thoughtful funny writings. Rosemary Flutur is a mainstay of the Toronto poetry scene, regularly performing new work and organizing readings, she is not only a vivid writer herself, but she is instrumental in creating a supportive creative community. Jamie Milay’s work dives into adventurous challenging territory that extends her photography and theatre practice.
